For many youths in Limbe, sports participation after school or on weekends represents an opportunity to chase a dream to be the next Samuel Eto’O, Françoise Mbango or Francis Ngannou. While this is mostly true for boys, the opposite can be said about girls, who continue to live relegated lives in the shadows of their male counterparts, unable to consistently enjoy leisure sport which can improve their health, physical fitness and give them opportunities to realize their full human rights.

Apart from Football and Track Athletics, the project also offers the girls engagement in Photography, Journalism, Cheer Group performances and Fan Club activities, which all provide opportunities for girls to receive a wide range of aptitude enhancement on mostly equal terms as their male counterparts, setting them on a path to grow into adults who can contribute to political, economic, social and cultural development, and benefit from it.
